About This Report

Abstract:

Growth in global construction is expected to bottom out at 2% this year, driven primarily by Q1 weakness in the US, slowing activity in China, and the first half reversal in Japan. Looking ahead growth is forecast to increase quite markedly, to in excess of 4% in 2015 and 2016, largely led by the US economy and backed by a moderately better outturn in Western Europe and Japan.
