NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) April 17, 2015--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today lowered its fund credit quality rating on the iShares iBonds Sep 2017 AMT-Free Muni Bond ETF to 'A+f' from 'AAf'. At the same time, we affirmed the 'S2' volatility rating on the fund. We lowered the fund credit quality rating on the iShares iBonds Sep 2017 AMT-Free Muni Bond ETF due to its increased exposures to issues rated 'BBB-', which have weakened the fund's overall credit quality in our fund credit quality matrix.
