SAN FRANCISCO (Standard&Poor's) Oct. 1, 2013--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA' rating to Wisconsin's $208.6 million general obligation (GO) refunding bonds of 2013 series 1 and its $186.8 million GO refunding bonds of 2014 series 1. We also assigned our 'AA' rating to Wisconsin's $167.7 million in taxable GO refunding bonds of 2013, series 2. In addition, we affirmed our 'AA' rating on the state's approximately $8.01 billion in existing GO debt. We also affirmed our 'AA-' rating on the state's $3.36 billion in existing appropriation bonds and master lease certificates of participation, as well as our 'A' rating on the state's moral obligation-backed debt.
