Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AAA' rating to West Des Moines, Iowa's series 2006A GO bonds, and affirmed its 'AAA' rating and 'AAA' underlying rating (SPUR) on the city's existing GO debt, based on the continued strong management of the city's high growth rate and financial position. West Des Moines continues to be an employment and residential center for the entire Des Moines metropolitan area.
