OVERVIEW Vermont Student Assistance Corp.'s issuance is an ABS transaction backed by private fixed-rate student loans made under Vermont Student Assistance Corp.'s Student Advantage and Parent Advantage loan programs. We assigned our preliminary ratings to the senior series 2017A and subordinate series 2017B notes. The preliminary ratings reflect our view of the transaction's credit support, credit quality, and payment and legal structures, among other factors.
