NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Oct. 31, 2007--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that it lowered its counterparty credit and senior debt ratings on UnitedHealth Group Inc. (UNH) to 'A-' from 'A'. The outlook is stable. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'A+' counterparty credit and financial strength ratings on two of UNH's operating companies, United HealthCare Insurance Co. and Golden Rule Insurance Co. and affirmed its 'A' counterparty credit and financial strength ratings on UNH's other operating subsidiaries.
