HONG KONG (S&P Global Ratings) Sept. 24, 2024--S&P Global Ratings today withdrew its 'A-' long-term and 'A-2' short-term issue ratings on The Bank of East Asia Ltd.'s (BEA) US$3 billion commercial paper program at the company's request. The program had no outstanding rated issuances at the time of the withdrawal. The withdrawal of the program rating has no impact on our issuer credit ratings on Hong Kong-based BEA (A-/Stable/A-2).
