Abstract:

Revenue grew 6.8% in the third quarter ended Sept. 28, 2024, supported by case volume growth of 3.8%, and food cost inflation. The independent restaurant segment, which contributes about one third of US Foods Inc.'s revenue and is the company's most profitable customer base, grew 4.1% in the third quarter, including 2.4% organic growth despite negative industry traffic. Restaurant growth was supplemented by expanding sales in the company?s health care and hospitality segments, up 5.7% and 3%, respectively. The company recently reaffirmed its fiscal 2024 guidance, including net sales of $37.7 billion to $38 billion. Looking ahead to fiscal 2025, we anticipate continued growth in the restaurant sector, driven by consumer demand for value-oriented dining options. We anticipate further market
