...September 22, 2023 Performance at Koninklijke Philips N.V. has recovered well during 2023 as the company started to solve its supply-chain problems, increased its operating efficiency, and implemented a restructuring plan. The results from the second quarter of 2023 indicate that sales grew by 9% compared with the same quarter of the prior year and company-adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization (EBITA) improved to 453 million, with an S&P Global Ratings-adjusted EBITDA margin of 10.1%. Operating cash showed an inflow of 135 million, compared with an outflow of 306 million in the same quarter of the prior year. Growth momentum was good across all segments and we expect it to continue, supported by growth in the order book. We expect solid growth in the diagnosis and treatment segment, as well as connected care; growth in personal health is likely to be more moderate in 2023 as consumer sentiment remains muted, but should recover well in 2024.
