About This Report

Abstract:

Eastman showcased resilient operational performance despite ongoing macroeconomic challenges. Year-to-date, revenue grew by approximately 1.9%, as a result of higher volumes and a more favorable product mix. Eastman saw the end of customer destocking in most end markets, and management cited the company as being ?reconnected to primary demand.? Lower raw material and energy costs and the associated pass-through pricing partially offset the volume and mix effects. The Advanced Materials (AM) segment led the growth with a 4.6% increase, fueled by growth in premium automotive interlayer products and benefits from the end of destocking in consumer durables. The Fibers segment grew 5%, on higher prices in acetate tow and strong textile demand. However, we expect demand in the Fibers segment
