The storm is expected to be one of the costliest storms in history. Duke Energy Corp., through its subsidiaries, serves millions of customers in the affected counties across northern Florida, and the western parts of South and North Carolina. The storm brought significant storm surge and flooding, causing considerable damage throughout Duke?s service territory.
