...August 17, 2023 After the COVID-19 pandemic's negative impact on operations over 2020-2021, activities started to rebound in 2022 and we anticipate further recovery in 2023. For the past three years, nursing homes faced business disruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which translated into lower occupancy rates, sickness-related staff absenteeism, and additional costs to ensure residents' safety. The challenging operational conditions spilled over differently between nursing home players and particularly affected Colisee's greenfield plan, delaying the ramp-up of these newly established homes. Amid those difficulties, Colisee has been able to maintain a solid performance thanks to state supported financial relief measures that helped the company withstand pandemic headwinds. Since the end of 2022 we have seen a gradual recovery to pre- pandemic levels of occupancy rates across geographies, toward the mid 90 percents on a group basis, reflecting the receding impacts of the pandemic.
