...SAN FRANCISCO (Standard & Poor's) Jan. 29, 2015--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its '##+' long-term rating to Tacoma, Wash.'s $100 million series 2015 sewer revenue and refunding bonds. "The rating reflects our view of the city's strong financial performance, strong economic base, and generally good operating history of the sewer and surface water systems," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Paul Dyson. The bond proceeds will refund a portion of the city's series 2006 sewer revenue and refunding bonds and fund approximately $50 million in sewer and $20 million in surface water improvements. The stable outlook reflects our anticipation that, during the next two years, management will continue to adjust rates and/or operating costs to generate continued strong coverage.
