At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirms its triple- `A' claims-paying ability ratings of European Reinsurance Co. of Zurich, reflecting strong implicit and explicit support by its parent, Swiss Re. The triple-`A' senior debt rating of SwissRe Finance (Bermuda) Ltd. and SwissRe Finance (US) Inc. also are affirmed, based on guarantees by Swiss Re.
