LONDON (Standard&Poor's) Oct. 31, 2006--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today it raised its long-term counterparty credit and insurer financial strength ratings on Employers Reinsurance Corp. and GE Reinsurance Corp. to 'AA-' from 'A+'. At the same time, Standard&Poor's raised its long-term counterparty credit rating on GE Insurance Solutions Corp. (GEIS) to 'A' from 'A-'. The outlook is stable. In addition, Standard&Poor's raised its long-term insurer financial strength ratings on Coregis Insurance Co., GE ERC Strategic Reinsurance Ltd., GE Frankona Reinsurance A/S (to be renamed Swiss Re Denmark Reinsurance A/S), Swiss Re Frankona Rückversicherungs Aktiengesellschaft (formerly known as GE Frankona Rückversicherungs Aktiengesellschaft), and Westport Insurance Corp. to 'AA-' from 'A'. All ratings were removed
