...S&P Global Ratings assigned its '##' long-term rating to the State of Wisconsin's general obligation (GO) 2018 series A bonds. S&P Global Ratings also affirmed its '##' long-term rating and underlying rating on the state's previously issued GO bonds. In addition, we affirmed our '##-' ratings on the state's outstanding appropriation-backed debt; our 'A+' ratings on bonds backed by the state's moral-obligation pledge; and our 'A' ratings on debt issued by the Wisconsin Center District secured by state appropriations. Finally, we affirmed our 'A-1+' short-term rating on the state's GO commercial paper (CP) and extended municipal CP programs. The outlook on all long-term ratings is stable.
