S&P Global Ratings placed its 'A+' long-term rating on Winnsboro, Texas' general obligation bonds on CreditWatch with negative implications. The CreditWatch placement is due to a lack of timely information, in particular the city's fiscal 2022 annual financial statements. We consider the required information necessary to maintain and assess our ratings. Accordingly, the rating is now at risk of being withdrawn, preceded by any change to the rating we consider appropriate given available information.
