Standard&Poor's Ratings Services raised its rating on Wachovia MERLOTS 2008D284, relating to San Antonio, Texas' general improvement and refunding bonds series 2006, to 'AAA/A-1+' from 'AA+/A-1+'. This action follows Standard&Poor's Nov. 25, 2008, upgrade of the underlying bond to 'AAA' from 'AA+'. The long-term component of the rating is based on the underlying bond. The short-term component of the rating is based on Wachovia Bank N.A.
