Abstract:

The rating on Verona Township Board Of Education, N.J.'s bonds reflects the additional security provided by New Jersey Statutes 18A:29-93, which authorizes the state treasurer to withhold and intercept a portion of qualified aid to pay debt service. Payment is made directly to the trustee. The state has approved the planned capital improvements and the scheduled debt service. Revenues from the state are at least equal to maximum debt service requirements. The outlook reflects the security provided by the fund for Free Public Schools.
