Abstract:

S&P Global Ratings affirmed its various long-term rating components on eight different tender-option bond trust issues for FMSbonds Inc. and Mesirow Financial Inc. related to various underlying bonds. This rating action follows our June 15, 2017, and June 30, 2017, rating actions on the ratings for the respective underlying bonds. We placed the ratings on the underlying bonds on CreditWatch with negative implications on June 15, 2017. (Please see the article, titled "Minnesota 'AA+' General Obligation Debt Rating On Watch Negative On Nonappropriation Of Certificates Of Participation," published June 15, 2017, on RatingsDirect.)
