The 'A' rating on Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust, Okla.'s general airport revenue bonds issued for Tulsa International Airport (the airport) has been affirmed. The rating has been removed from CreditWatch with negative implications where it was placed on Sept. 20, 2001. The rating affirmation reflects the expectation that the financial profile of the airport will recover in the near term to support the existing rating. The airport benefits from a high percentage of origin and destination travel (98%) and having Southwest Airlines as its main carrier. Southwest's essentially uninterrupted service has helped demand recovery and has permitted continued solid flow of airline and nonairline revenues.
