Standard&Poor's Ratings Services raised its rating on Trinity River Authority (TRA), Texas' water project revenue bonds, issued for Tarrant County's water project, one notch to 'AA+' from 'AA'. The outlook is stable. The upgrade reflects our assessment of the improved credit quality of the retail utility systems participating in TRA's Tarrant County water project, evidenced by their strong debt service coverage (DSC) and liquidity. At the same time, Standard&Poor's assigned its 'AA+' rating and stable outlook to the authority's series 2013 improvement revenue bonds, issued for Tarrant County's water project.
