S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA+/A-1' rating to the Pennsylvania Higher Educational Facilities Authority's $125.335 million series 2024D-1 bonds issued for Thomas Jefferson University (TJU). S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA/A-1' rating to the authority's $100 million series 2024D-2, $100 million series 2024D-3, and $100 million series 2024D-4 bonds, also issued for TJU. In addition, S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A' underlying rating (SPUR) related to the joint criteria application on the series 2024D bonds. The outlook on the SPURs is stable. Securing the series 2024 bonds is a joint and several general obligation and a pledge of gross revenue from the system's two legacy obligated groups. The Jefferson Health Plan and employed physician groups are designated affiliates and part
