Standard&Poor's Ratings Services lowered the short-term component of its rating on 26 Allied Irish Banks PLC letter of credit facility-backed issues to 'A-2' from 'A-1', and removed the ratings from CreditWatch with negative implications. This action follows Standard&Poor's Jan. 26, 2010, downgrade of Allied Irish Banks PLC to 'A-/A-2' from 'A/A-1', and the removal of the rating from CreditWatch with negative implications.
