Standard&Poor's Rating Services expects Romeoville, IL.-based security alarm services company Protection One Alarm Monitoring Inc. (PONE) to exhibit flat to slightly decreased revenue performance and flat to moderately improved margins through the second half of 2011. Our revenue expectation primarily reflects our view that the company is likely to experience continued modest net attrition in its residential customer base, which is partly offset by growth in the company's smaller and more profitable commercial segment. Margins should also benefit from the improving mix. However, over the near term, we expect most margin improvements to be driven by tighter integration of monitoring facilities and higher operational efficiency.
