The rating on Bear Stearns Municipal Securities Trust Certificates Class A Series 1997-11, relating to Philadelphia water and wastewater revenue bonds series 1993, has been affirmed subsequent to the bank facility being extended to Feb. 4, 2005. The long-term component of the rating is based on the underlying bonds. The short-term component of the rating is based on a liquidity facility provided by Bear Stearns Capital Markets, Inc. and guaranteed by Bear Stearns Companies Inc.
