S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'SP-1+' short-term rating to Ocean City, N.J.'s $30 million series 2024 bond anticipation notes (BANs) maturing Oct. 16, 2024, and its 'AA' long-term rating to the city's $50 million series 2024 general obligation (GO) bonds based on the application of its "Methodology For Rating U.S. Governments," published Sept. 9, 2024. At the same time, we affirmed our 'SP-1+' short-term rating and our 'AA' long-term rating on the city's GO debt outstanding. The outlook, where applicable, is stable.
