Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA' long-term rating to North Mankato, Minn.'s series 2010A general obligation (GO) improvement bonds, series 2010B GO sales tax revenue bonds, series 2010C GO refunding bonds, and series 2010D GO tax increment bonds. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'AA' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the city's existing debt, its 'AA' long-term rating on debt issued by North Mankato Port Authority Commission, and its 'AAA' long-term rating on the city's series 2009B bonds, reflecting the city's participation in the state of Minnesota's city credit enhancement program.
