S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AAA' long-term rating to the City of Naperville, Ill.'s series 2017 general obligation (GO) bonds. At the same time, we affirmed our 'AAA' long-term rating on the city's existing GO debt. The outlook is stable. The series 2017 bonds are secured by the city's unlimited tax GO pledge. Proceeds from the bonds will be used for capital improvements within the city.
