Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'A-1+' rating to Maryland Health and Higher Educational Facilities Authority's (Johns Hopkins Health System Obligated Group) commercial paper notes series E and F, reflecting an irrevocable LOC provided by Bank of America N.A. (AA+/A-1+). The LOC covers principal plus interest at the maximum rate on the notes for 34 days. The notes must mature on the business day not later than 270 days from their date of issuance and in no event later than the earlier of the latest possible maturity date or five business days prior to the LOC expiration date.
