The rating on Los Angeles Harbor Department's bonds series 1998 reflects a deposit of U. S. Government and agency obligations held in escrow until Aug. 3, 2018, a revised verification report, and a float agreement. On June 12, 2002, an escrow reinvestment agreement was entered into with Bank of America N.A., where Bank of America was given the right to substitute the escrow investments as they matured. On Oct. 1, 2018 the Bank of America float agreement will expire. The bonds were economically defeased on July 7, 1993.
