The 'A-1+' rating on Maryland Health and Higher Educational Facilities Authority's CP notes, issued for Johns Hopkins Hospital ('AA-'; an affiliate of Johns Hopkins Health System Corp.), is based on the borrower's ability to pay the interest that is due on the maturity date, and the line of credit provider's (SunTrust Bank; 'A-1+'), ability to pay the principal that is due on the maturity date.
