S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA' long-term and underlying rating to Hudson County, N.J.'s approximately $7.3 million series 2024 general obligation (GO) bonds consisting of the county's series 2024 vocational-technical (vo-tech) school bonds and series 2024 county college bonds. The outlook is stable. Hudson County's full-faith-and-credit pledge to pay principal and interest from the levy and collection of ad valorem taxes, without limit as to rate or amount, secures the bonds and existing GO debt.
