The series 2007 bonds were approved by voter referendum in November 2004. Bond proceeds will be used to finance street improvements. The 'A' rating on the city's capital projects bonds issued by the Hazelwood Industrial Development Authority reflects annual appropriation risk. Hazelwood is located in northern St. Louis County just north of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, about 15 miles northwest of downtown St. Louis.
