S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA' rating to Metropolitan District Hartford County (MDC), Conn.'s $82 million general obligation (GO) bonds, issue of 2024, series A and $21.9 million GO bonds, issue of 2024, series B. At the same time, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its rating on MDC's outstanding clean water project (CWP) revenue and GO bonds. The outlook is stable. The district's full faith and credit pledge secures the GO bonds. The clean water project charge (CWPC) revenue secures the revenue-supported bonds.
