Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AAA' rating to East Bay Municipal Utility District (MUD), Calif.'s series 2010A wastewater system revenue refunding bonds and 2010B revenue bonds and affirmed its 'AAA' long-term ratings and underlying ratings (SPURs) on the district's previously issued subordinated wastewater revenue bonds. The 2010 series A bonds and series B bonds will be issued in amounts up to $67 million and $150 million, respectively. Standard&Poor's also affirmed its 'AAA/A-1+' rating on the district's 2008A wastewater system subordinated revenue refunding bonds. At the same time, we affirmed our 'AAA/A-1' ratings on the district's series 2008B and 2008C wastewater system subordinated revenue refunding bonds.
