S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA+' rating to Clay County School District 74 (North Kansas City) Mo's series 2016A general obligation (GO) refunding bonds. The outlook is stable. The district will use series 2016A bond proceeds to crossover refund series 2007 bonds on March 1, 2018, as well as crossover refund series 2008 bonds on March 1, 2019, for savings. The rating on the district's series 2016A refunding bonds reflects an escrow in U.S. government securities. The escrow supports the bonds through both the March 1, 2018, and the March 1, 2019, crossover dates.
