S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A' long-term rating to City View Independent School District (ISD), Texas' anticipated $2.5 million series 2024 maintenance tax notes. At the same time, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'A' underlying rating on the district's existing unlimited-tax debt. The outlook on all ratings is stable. A limited, direct annual ad valorem tax levied for maintenance purposes secures the series 2024 notes. Officials intend to use series 2024 note proceeds to fund baseball and softball turf fields. An unlimited ad valorem tax, levied on all taxable property within the district, secures the existing general obligation debt.
