S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA' long-term rating and underlying rating for credit program to Cedar Grove Township Board of Education, N.J.'s series 2016 school bonds. At the same time, we affirmed our 'AA' long-term and underlying rating on the board's existing general obligation (GO) debt. The outlook is stable. The board's full faith and credit secures the bonds. In addition, the New Jersey Fund for the Support of Free Public Schools program provides additional security. The bond proceeds will be used to fund various capital projects. The rating reflects our opinion of the board's: Access to diverse regional employment bases in New York City and northern New Jersey; Very strong income and extremely strong wealth indicators; Very strong total
