SINGAPORE (Standard&Poor's) April 10, 2014--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today assigned its 'BBB-' long-term rating to a proposed issue of dual-tranche senior unsecured notes by State Bank of India (SBI: BBB-/Negative/A-3). The rating on the notes reflects the long-term counterparty credit rating on SBI. The proposed notes will constitute direct, unconditional, unsecured, and unsubordinated obligations of SBI, and shall at all times rank equally with all other unsecured obligations of the bank.
