Ratings for majority-owner Sprint Nextel Corp. remain on CreditWatch, where they were placed with positive implications on Oct. 11, 2012 following its agreement to sell a 70% stake in the company to Japan-based SoftBank Corp. We expect to resolve the CreditWatch listing when the transaction closes, most likely in the second quarter of 2013. An important factor in our analysis would be the degree of financial support we would attribute to the higher-rated SoftBank.
