NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Nov. 25, 2015--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services revised the outlook on its 'BBB+' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on Shreveport, La.'s water and sewer revenue debt to positive from stable. The outlook revision reflects Standard&Poor's opinion of the improvement of the water and sewer system's liquidity to more-adequate levels in fiscal years 2014 and 2015, which Standard&Poor's believes is likely sustainable. At the same time, Standard&Poor's assigned its 'BBB+' long-term rating and positive outlook to the city's $120 million series 2015 water and sewer revenue and refunding bonds. Finally, the rating service affirmed its 'BBB+' long-term rating and SPUR on the city's existing water and sewer revenue debt.
