SAN FRANCISCO (Standard&Poor's) Feb. 12, 2009-- Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that it corrected its long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on Seattle Wash.'s drainage and wastewater revenue bonds series 2001. The rating was raised to 'AA+' from 'AA'. The outlook is stable. Although the bonds are on parity with other obligations secured by Seattle's net drainage and wastewater revenues, we inadvertently did not include them in a rating action on March 18, 2008, in which we raised our rating on Seattle's other obligations. For more information, see the article published March 18, 2008, on RatingsDirect.
