...March 11, 2026 NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) March 11, 2026--S&P Global Ratings today assigned its `A+' rating to U.S.-based software provider Salesforce Inc.'s announced $25 billion unsecured bond offering in multiple tranches, with maturities ranging from two to 40 years. Salesforce will use the proceeds to fund a leveraged accelerated buyback under a previously disclosed $50 billion authorization. At the same time, Salesforce expects to raise a new $6 billion unsecured five-year term loan (unrated) to refinance debt related to the Informatica acquisition. This transaction doesn't affect our `A+' rating on Salesforce because the company has some debt capacity at the rating. The outlook is negative because leverage could rise over 2x in the next one to two years and stay elevated with high spending on buybacks and acquisitions.
