STERIS PLC Subsidiary STERIS Irish FinCo Unlimited Co.'s Proposed Senior Unsecured Notes Rated 'BBB-'

NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) March 24, 2021--S&P Global Ratings today assigned its 'BBB-' issue-level rating to the senior unsecured notes due 2031 and 2051 issued by Ireland-based sterilization and infection prevention products and services provider STERIS PLC's wholly-owned financing subsidiary STERIS Irish FinCo Unlimited Co. The notes will be fully guaranteed by parent STERIS PLC and both of its operating subsidiaries, STERIS Corp. and STERIS Ltd. The company will use the proceeds from the offering mainly to fund its planned acquisition of Cantel Medical Corp. Global for $4.6 billion (including debt of roughly $1 billion at Cantel).
