PARIS (Standard&Poor's) Dec. 24, 2008--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today corrected an administrative error relative to Belgium-based Fortis Bank SA/NV (Fortis Bank Belgium, FBB; A/Watch Pos/A-1). On Oct. 6, 2008, we placed the long- and short-term counterparty credit ratings and the senior unsecured debt ratings on FBB on CreditWatch with positive implications. However, the CreditWatch placements of the senior unsecured debt ratings in the list below were inadvertently not updated in our database. Today's press release corrects this by adding the CreditWatch positive status for these senior unsecured debt issues.
