NY -- Standard&Poor's CreditWire 12/2/98 -- Standard&Poor's today assigned its double-'B'-plus rating to Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A.'s US$100 million senior unsecured 10% notes due 2000 issued under its US$1 billion global medium-term note program.
