NY -- Standard&Poor's CreditWire 12/4/97 -- Standard&Poor's today has assigned its single-`A'-plus rating to California Health Facilities Financing Authority's revenue bonds series 1997 dated Dec. 1, 1997 due Dec. 1, 2027, issued for El Proyecto Del Barrio. These bonds are scheduled to sell Dec. 1, 1997. The outlook is stable. El Proyecto Del Barrio is a not-for-profit organization that provides primary medical care, drug rehabilitation and prevention programs, and job training services to low income populations in the San Fernando Valley. Proceeds will be used to refinance two existing loans and construct a facility that will house a primary health care clinic, administrative offices, and a perinatal program.
