Abstract:

STOCKHOLM (Standard&Poor's) May 25, 2011--Standard&Poor's Rating Services said today that, due to an error, the Nordic scale rating on Sweden-based industrial machinery manufacturer Sandvik AB was incorrectly stated as 'K-2' when the long-term corporate credit rating on the company was raised to 'BBB+' from 'BBB' on May 24, 2011. (See related article titled "Sandvik Upgraded To 'BBB+' On Strengthening Credit Ratios; Outlook Stable.") The correct Nordic scale rating on Sandvik AB is 'K-1'. Today's release corrects this error.
