Abstract:

NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Jan. 29, 2010--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today corrected its ranking for Specialized Loan Servicing (SLS) as a residential subordinate-lien mortgage loan Servicer to ABOVE AVERAGE. On May 20, 2009, we raised our ranking on SLS to ABOVE AVERAGE from AVERAGE as a residential subordinate-lien mortgage loan servicer but, due to an administrative error, we inadvertently listed the ranking as STRONG on RatingsDirect. Standard&Poor's maintains ABOVE AVERAGE rankings on SLS as a subprime, subordinate-lien, and special residential mortgage loan servicer.
